The Election Integrity Tool (EITool) is an instrument developed by the Electoral Institute for Sustainable Democracy in Africa (EISA), to guide election observation groups in their assessment and conclusions on the character of electoral processes in countries holding elections. It seeks to contribute to the improvement of assessments of elections across Africa and beyond. The instrument emanates from an EISA project on addressing electoral integrity in Africa implemented from 2015 to 2017.
